In her first cover for GQ, Kim Kardashian dropped a bombshell that involves hot-and-cold acquaintances, Kanye West and Taylor Swift.
According to the reality star, Swift endorsed West’s “Famous” lyric where he raps, “I feel like me and Taylor might still have sex/ Why? I made that bi**h famous.” Even Ye himself said he received approval from the Pop star to use that reference, adding that she had a laugh about the line when he notified her.
“She totally knew that that was coming out. She wanted to all of a sudden act like she didn’t,” Kardashian said. “I swear, my husband gets so much s**t for things [when] he really was doing proper protocol and even called to get it approved.”
After that news hit the Net, the “Wildest Dreams” singer swiftly denied reports that she gave West the green light. A rep stated, “She declined and cautioned him about releasing a song with such a strong misogynistic message.”
On the subject of misogyny, Kim shared that she doesn’t have a problem with West’s lyrics, not even when he refers to her as a bi**h.
“I never once think, [gasping] ‘What a derogatory word! How dare he?’ Not in a million years. I don’t know why she just, you know, flipped all of a sudden,” she said. “It was funny because [on the call with Kanye, Taylor] said, ‘When I get on the Grammy red carpet, all the media is going to think that I’m so against this, and I’ll just laugh and say, ‘The joke’s on you, guys. I was in on it the whole time.’ And I’m like, wait, but [in] your Grammy speech, you completely dissed my husband just to play the victim again.”
